Karen’s energy and initiative is greatly appreciated by everyone who works with her. Karen joined Trapeze in 2006 and has both an advertising agency background and experience on the client side. With an eye for detail that makes her a real asset to our clients, Karen is very involved in the day-to-day management of projects and easily keeps multiple projects moving smoothly on time and on track. Karen was born and raised in Victoria, but brings a global perspective to Trapeze through her passion for international travel and volunteering. She has spent time teaching English to primary school children in Tanzania, East Africa, as well as both fundraising and home building with Habitat for Humanity in South Africa. She also worked for 4 years as a sign language interpreter for deaf and hard of hearing children. Karen has studied Public Relations Theory and Practice and Writing for Public Relations at the University of Victoria, American Sign Language at Camosun College and Sign Language Interpretation at Vancouver Community College.
