The Climate Examiner website launch.

Get the latest climate news from BC and around the world
May 11, 2016

We are pleased to have recently designed and developed this website on behalf of the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions (PICS).

The Climate Examiner is an online news source featuring the latest climate-related developments, research and energy-policy news regarding key developments relevant to British Columbia, Canada, and around the globe. We hope you enjoy the elegant typography, beautiful design, and the very latest web technology: Google’s Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) that this site delivers.

So what is Google’s AMP all about?!?!

One of our main objectives on this project was to ensure the article content was delivered quickly and efficiently to users searching on Google. To achieve this, we harnessed the power of Google’s recently launched project AMP. In a nutshell, this technology strips away unnecessary code, streamlining mobile page content, and giving Google search users the information they require at a faster rate.

Thanks Leigh!

“We wanted a modern look while retaining our profile as as a research institute. With larger images, better social media integration, and the ability to embed non-text content such as video, audio and infographics, we are thrilled with the result. Trapeze has been exceptionally responsive and just very friendly in our working relationship. We are more than happy to recommend the entire Trapeze team.” — Leigh Phillips, Pacific Institute of Climate Studies
