Case Study
This was the first brand advertising campaign ever developed for the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. One of the AGGV's key marketing challenges is the fact that it is not located in the downtown core, but rather in a residential neighbourhood. It literally "lacks visibility". This campaign was targeted to a region-wide audience with a goal of reminding everyone that art - and the AGGV - "belongs to us all". The creative approach connects key pieces of art from the collection to the community. We worked with a photographer and the Gallery's curator to identify regional locations and art works that would mirror each other and connect the AGGV to all of Victoria. The line, "We add art to your life" brought it all home.
