Emily Carr exhibition
This is new work for a multi-year exhibition at Art Gallery of Greater Victoria celebrating Emily Carr. The AGGV has one of the best collections in the world of Emily’s work and as such, her work deserved a more prominent position in the gallery. The exhibition draws not only on its own collections but also from works owned by the Royal BC Museum and Archives and the Sisters of St. Mary. The title of the exhibition is taken from Emily’s own words, and illustrated typographically by us as a powerful wordmark in colours from her palette. We also produced uniquely narrow posters for easy display in storefronts.
