This is a “portal style” site dealing with two distinct audiences: consumers and businesses that are regulated by Consumer Protection BC. The site planning was an extensive exercise due to the volume of content. As such, it was totally re-imagined from its ancestor site. The overall goal was to make it far easier for people to find the information they are looking for, reducing frustration and minimizing phone calls to Consumer Protection. The site design is an integrated component of the overall brand re-development of the organization.
