Special Places Website
We just designed, wrote, developed and launched a new web site for Tourism Vancouver Island’s “Special Places”. Special PlacesVI.com showcases the premium resort destinations on Vancouver Island. The site is geared to the leisure travel and meetings markets and presents access to member pages and well as excellent information about Vancouver Island and all there is to do here. The site invites users to navigate by their desired experience and leads them to the resorts that meet their criteria. With so many members participating in the site development process, we needed to devleop a robust Drupal CMS that is easily managed by Tourism Vancouver Island and by each member resort. We also had great photography to work with which we took full advantage of using photo galleries and lightboxes. The next phase of the site will showcase some amazing video of the island.
